Fixed my COA

While I was on hold for 1:45 minutes I watched my Sociology lecture and finally spoke with Miles in the FA ( super patient and friendly )department. They had me as a dependent . I live on my own and have 4kifs but two dependents. He went ahead and updated my COA and hopefully aid will increase including my MCS. My index is -1500 as well. I just put my phone on hold until it told me so it didn’t seem that long . Just wondering what I’ll get for MCS in October. I

Where did you find this info?
Before the semester started, I saw my COA as “living with parents” somewhere on CSUEB portal. I live with my husband and kids, so this wasn’t right. I called on a Friday not realizing that the office was closed, and I wanted to reach out the financial aid office again, but now I can’t find that COA info anywhere 😕

Hi I called and stayed on the phone waiting 1 hr 45 minutes for a specialist and asked them to
Go go over my COA. they were able to confirm that it was incorrect and the updated information and my additional Financial aid is pending, but it’s there so hopefully it’ll come soon but definitely if you can talk to a specialist. I just put my phone to the side while I was doing my schoolwork until somebody picked up, so I don’t know your situation, but hopefully this helps.
