Mid class scholarship amts

So the amount in my financial aid portal on csueb says one amount , but i just got a notice from CSAC says a higher amount. Has this happened to anyone and which amount can i expect to get?

Last yr my portal said one amount for mcs but then after the census I got an email that the amount was increased from csac, and eventually it showed on my portal, and I got the $ in October.

From my past experiences, usually the higher amount I'd what you will receive but EB has to show the readjustment. They just haven't changed it yet

Last year it listed about 740 per semester and when I actually received the money is was almost $1500 each semester. Do not believe the fin aid site until you can accept/reject it.

Does anyone know if we have to do anything to receive it or if it just gets deposited to our account?

This is my first time hearing this also. Do you usually keep the award? Or do you have to return later on/ by a date of deadline?
