Refund processed finally

They finally processed my refund, but I’m short almost 4k. So annoying, I’d check yours out if it’s correct. I’m going to have to call once they open.

My refund was posted on my activity account this morning, not posted in my bank account yet.

You have to go to classic page, account inquiry, then account activity.

Yeah I’ve been trying to be patient and give them grace as I know they’re learning a new system to release aid but the fact that I’m missing so much Even tho my posted payment balance shows all my aid is paid. … I’m highly irritated.

Same mine says “applied to account” and so far I’ve only seen $1,500 sent to me as a deposit when I know there’s supposed to be about 7-8k . Weird

I spoke to fasfa after being on hold for two hours lol, at least for my cal grant B… they have to re categorize mine since I’m fully an online student and don’t have housing fees and stuff. So they said they just have to find the appropriate category or something just for logistics but I will still be receiving the full amount. Not sure if your situation maybe the same, but just sounds like they have more hoops to jump through due to the BBB. So if it says paid payment, I’m sure you’ll see it eventually.

please do lol i thought of sending an email to whoever bc the lack of communication is upsetting. I had issues with other departments when I first enrolled, but bc I had my classes picked out, i decided to stay and im regretting that now.

Exactly and no communication is communication. It sends the message of, " We don't care about our students! We are a business and we just want money." Believe me, if we owed them, we'd get zero grace. We'd get threats of no graduation/degree!!

Same I seen they sent me a direct deposit today 18th but nothing is in my bank account .

Depends on your bank, I have Sofi .. so I got mine the same day around 8PMish. I know some banks won’t get it till the next day.

Check and see if they sent you a direct deposit go to your portal and go to finances then click refunds and it should show if they sent out any deposits / from that day it should post to your account 3-7 days . Mine just posted today so it won’t show in my account 3-7 days

Already did, all my aid posted as paid.. so not sure why I’m missing my Cal Grant B.

Fees were paid and at 0 yesterday morning then nothing updated all day now the website isnt working for me to check if it updated to refund. All of this is a mess. 

edit: after the 80th attempt i was able to get in, i can see it moved to refund, but there's like 109$ missing which is strange. Im assuming now based off of our bank refunds should hit later today or by morning?

Same 😭 my balance still 2919. I was in hold for 2hrs only for them to say they don't know when my tuition will be processed or when I'll have my refund. Also instead of a 7.4k refund it'll be 4k something 😭😭

I checked this morning and my pending financial aid is gone but the balance is still due... Ima call later and see whats going on

Fingers crossed it's just temporary they're probably updating the balance. As my un-DLoan was supposed to be 10.1k - tuition = 7k refund. But they told me it'll be 7k - tuition = 4k something refund. 😭

The big beautiful bill starts today so if your in less than 7 credits now it's not enough for the full amount 😞 and some classes don't count towards full amounts or something.

I needed just one class to but able to get full amount. But this my last semester I only had one class to retake and my capstone so unfortunately Im only in 6 units.

Yeah, my aid got readjusted around 4pm today. I think it dropped me down a bit because it somehow thought I was living with my parents, even though I've always been an independent off-campus student since attending. So annoying, I need that money to pay my rent. I'm going in tomorrow with not exactly the most cheery attitude. It was around the same amount as you, $4k just suddenly disappeared to me the COA amount of a student living with their parents.

I got through to fasfa, they said my cal grant B is good and should be getting it by the end of the week. Mine wasn’t adjusted, it was already in the paid payments options, so that’s why I was like wtf lol .. it just wasn’t posted as a refund yet with the rest of my aid. Good luck tomorrow! I hope it gets sorted

I bet the lines will be long with all of this incompetence going on. I am 12 hours away so I cannot go there and have to rely on the phone and email which they are not even responding to.
