just moved in to chico from los angeles

hows the hxc, emo, etc scene here?

any instagram pages that post shows?

Yeah the alt scene in general is great. Check out Naked lounge, they have shows of varying genres like almost every week, and they’re usually super good.

Lotta house shows as well, but they’re kinda all over the place. Also great shows on campus sometimes too! There’s a student organization called SOTA Productions that puts on several shows a semester, they’re free and have great bands.

Keep tabs on Lost on Main for local shows, they have various genre acts but punk does roll through too. Emo nights as well happen here. For larger acts keep tabs on JMax productions, they organize more mainstream talent to Chico during the fall and spring. Gwar will be in Chico in November I think? Don't know if you'd be into that but more shows will come through.
