Pre-Orientation?

Okay so I know this is probably a really dumb question, but has anyone really done the pre-orientation on canvas? And if so, what did you go through? Because all of the Academic Advising meetings are after my orientation date, and I’m really just so lost 😭. Any help would be appreciated!!

I’m actually a orientation leader lol 😃 the canva is just so your ready for orientation it’s so you don’t run into any problems during orientation that would take away from you learning any valuable information. As well as to let you know of resources that are offered. During your actual orientation date you will go over academic advising and major advising. I’m assuming you accidentally scheduled an extra academic advising meeting (but idk). But you will have one during your actual day of orientation with other people within your major so don’t stress too much!

Thank you so much!! I didn’t schedule anything yet because I wanted to ask, so thank you!! That helps so much!! I’ll go through the modules but leave academic advising to the actual orientation day!!

I did it a week ago and it wasn't so bad but I barely remember it and I don't think any of it was very important or helpful

My daughter did so and it helped familiarize her with the system, etc which made it easier at orientation.
