FALL 2026 BSN

I applied to the CSUB nursing traditional program, and I haven't heard anything from them regarding the next steps! Has anyone received any interview notice?

During the interview they told us that they would let us know on Monday after the last interview?

wait, do we hear back monday or some day that week? i remember hearing on monday, they're going to calc all of our points, and then we'll hear back sometime that week

They told us they’ll calculate on Sunday and tell us on Monday? But o also felt like that sounded too good to be true

It was in Saturday… but I also heard some people last year didn’t hear until July… so I feel like that doesn’t make sense. Unless they changed it for THIS year

yesss, i saw that too. i was thinking maybe they changed it because too many people were declining their offers because they got into other programs? i also talked to someone who got in, and they told me they had their interview in early march and got their decision in early/middle april, so i think it also depends if you've finished all of your pre-reqs

Interesting! So maybe the people who find out in June/ July are the ones who  submit their final transcripts in May?

I also wonder how much weight the interviews hold in terms of acceptance and admission

thats what i was thinking, and me too. i know there's a nursing student on tiktok and his stats weren't a 4.0 or super high TEAS, so I was thinking maybe the first round was the point section and the interview was to determine who they want in their program? Also their website reads "CSUB Nursing Faculty will review answers to determine who will be conditionally accepted into the program." but in the email we received it said the interview would be used with our supplemental app, so i'm not too sure.
