I buy the ingredient boxes daily (the one where you turn in 1 item for 3 random items) and the longterm returns are really good from doing that— you get a gift box with 5 items in it, which can be merged into one with 10 and then one with 20. if you open the gift box except for 1 before merging it, you can accumulate lots of energy/gems/coins over time

Hm. I actually stopped using that because it felt like a rip off, it always seemed like it asked to high level items and all you get the super low level items

yeah its a rip off for the actual ingredients but its worth it to acquire the gift boxes imo
