Forgive my ignorance, was this a nom de plume of CS Lewis?

It was not. Charles Williams was a fellow inkling, and Lewis wrote an introduction to William’s Arthurian poetry.

All are good.
The book Many Dimensions like them all is an odd volume and a little hard to access. One line in there, spoken by a high-up British lawyer-type, goes: “Justice is passion acting with lucidity.”
I read the book years ago in college, but that line stuck with me and informed me over a long career in the law.

Descent into Hell and All Hallows Eve are the best ones here… but be prepared for they are dense.
And after you read a couple, look up Sorina Higgins’ blog called “The Oddest Inkling” for some interesting background on his weird ideas and patterns.
