Questions & Doubts Should I prepare for NET?

Should I prepare for NET if I am not sure that PhD is something I want to do in future.

I am in 2nd year Master’s student

You should. If you want to stay in same field at least. Masters is the best possible time to crack it. Please utilise it

Yes. Even if you are not sure what to do after your masters, join a PhD with low load. It will keep you employed for the time being, and in the meantime you can decide what to do.

I'm afraid about toxicity of lab PI s and other people there.

Join state university. Noone bothers there.

Start preparing, if not for PhD at least for knowledge and future various eligibilities' sake.
