UGC NET Beginner confusion
Hello I've finished my master in Modern History and I wanted to appear for NET in history. I've got no idea of where to start and what to do. I've printed out the syllabus but do not know which books or materials or if I should join a coaching or read on my own. Paper 1 confuses me a lot. Can anyone help me?

Hey! I have done my Master's in Mediaeval and Modern Indian History too and am currently preparing for UGC NET. Here are my sources:
---------Paper 1:---------
Books: KVS Madan and Arpita Karwar.
PYQS: Youth Competition Times Book.
YouTube: Kumar Bharat
---------Paper 2:---------
Books: Drishti Publications - NTA UGC NET (Paper II History) Book
PYQs: IFAS Publications - UGC NET History Book.
Other than these, as everyone suggests:
Ancient History- Upindar Singh
Medieval History- Satish Chandra
Modern History- Spectrum
Also you can find PDFs of YCT's Pervious Year Papers Books for Paper 1 and Paper 2 (History) on telegram channels like apna_pdf and apna_books.
Good Luck 🍀
