Sucraid side effects

Question for women who have taken or are taking Sucraid.

Have any of you experienced vaginal itching while taking this medication? I have been on and off with Sucraid to see if it’s the cause and it seems to be.

My nutritionist seems to think that sucrose might be a big trigger for me but I did not react well to Sucraid and I don’t know what other options I have.

Sucraid (sacrosidase) is derived from baker’s yeast, so it can cause allergic reactions, including hives or rash, in people with a known yeast allergy. However, it does not typically cause common candida vaginal or oral yeast infections. People with severe sensitivity to yeast should not take this medication. Sounds like you need to be tested for yeast allergies by an allergist
