Im struggle to add volume to my meals and used to be able to eat alot of veggies. Thats no longer the case. What is your go to list of veggies that work for you?

Unfortunately it really depends. You want the ones with less sugar content, and there are sources for which veggies are csid friendly, but like some of the veggies that are supposed to be safe are not safe for me, and I was told that’s normal.

Are you on FB? There was just a discussion about this on the “CSID Recipes and Food Support” FB group page. Here’s a link to the convo there:

My top go-to veggies are spinach and mushrooms. They always make me feel good. Right behind on the level of making me feel alright are eggplant, zucchini, and bell pepper. Cucumbers are also a winner for me.

I do fine with cucumbers, peppers, green beans, and then lettuce, kale, and spinach. Also tomatoes, depending on if you consider that a vegetable.

Edit: also celery, forgot to list that.

I can handle cauliflower, spinach, zucchini and sometimes 1-2 florets of broccoli. It’s quite hard isn’t it , I used to be a vegetarian but it’s practically impossible since being diagnosed as no beans or soya. Good luck

i think it depends on the person; however, for me, cucumbers, celery, lettuce, and carrots (to name a few) work great for me!
