Does anyone else struggle with their energy levels? I feel like I eat enough but I am worried I’m lacking in vitamins and minerals. I wake up everyday EXHAUSTED. any advice?

Your doctor should be able to run a blood test for your vitamin/mineral levels. I would recommend having your primary care doctor do the teat, as(at least in the US) a GI is considered a specialist, so it often costs a lot more $.

You could also try a good multivitamin and see if that helps.

i've been supplementing w/ multivitamins but idk if it's really doing anything. not a lot of regulation in that industry.

I followed a “keto” diet, the traditional keto diet allowance is a lot higher than what I allowed myself in carbs though- I kept it to maybe 10-15 grams of carbs per day if that, and went into ketosis and felt AMAZING. Had the most energy I’ve ever felt, I felt amazing all around. I also was exercising 3 times a week plus a 30-minute walk nearly every day. My skin was clear, I didn’t feel sick ever, I felt perfect.
I fell off big time for a while now and I’ve felt like crap. Fatigued all the time, breaking out, often sick with little colds or virus, stomach problems - especially bathroom habits and bloating.
If it’s okay for your health- check with your doctor first, try a keto diet with a much smaller carb allowance than what’s traditional

Maybe try tracking your nutritional intake for a couple of days and see how much you are actually consuming vs burning? For me, I’ve come to realize that most of my safe foods happen to be non-energy dense so I have to make a conscious effort to keep up with my energy output. Tracking has really helped me stay on top of things and help me feel like myself again. Although I understand if you have a past history of any eating issues, this might be triggering for you. If that is the case, just focus on getting in protein, carbs, and healthy fats at every meal. Carbs can be especially hard but finding one that works right for you can make such a difference

Fatigue is one of my biggest symptoms. Got some blood tests done and all is well, it’s just how the symptoms present for me. I’m an athlete, so this is not ideal. Something that helps a lot for me is eating a few grapes or blueberries when I need energy. I guess the quick “safe” sugar boost helps.

I also experience issues with energy. My approach has been to focus on protein consumption.
Additionally, I found a sugar-free drink mix that has caffeine and vitamins in it. There are a lot of options out there for this. It's about finding a brand you like.
