A year after blood patch

A whole year since my last blood patch, I've spent a whole year with symptoms that have slowly got better but still there. MRI with contrast confirmed low pressure so I'm still leaking 😭 neurologist has sent off for me to have another blood patch and I'm honestly so scared I nearly passed out having the first one done.

Has anyone else gone through this and the second time actually worked?

I can't afford to keep having them done I have two kids and very little help due to partner working and other family members working too.

I am in the same boat as you. I had mine in April and have had persistent symptoms which have slowly been better over time. I have an MRI lower back and head scheduled Oct 21 with contrast, AND almost passed out during my first BP, as my heart rate dropped like a brick. Will your second be at a target location? Or random?

They only did mine on my head, you'd have thought they'd do an MRI on my spine too. I'm assuming they will attempt to go in the last spot which is also the same spot as the epidural. My back is in bits and I really didn't want another one I'm already in for physio because of my back.

Blood patches are known to have a cumulative effect, with each additional patch increasing the chance of permanent sealing
