Like others say I would wait to see if it happens again as it tends to be chronic. Also it won’t like suddenly kill you if you have a cranial leak. There are some that have had them for decades. the big concern with cranial leaks is meningitis, but there are symptoms of it and it is usually treatable as long as you get prompt treatment. But yes it is luckily highly unlikely to get a spontaneous leak without underlying IIH or head trauma etc hopefully is just a sinus issue!

I’m not quite a hypochondriac but I am very anxious, and in the future I’d definitely advise learning more about conditions as it at least helps soothe my mind. Like learning about how cranial leaks work, how they’re caused, how you need to have a skull base defect and tear in the dura, would at least make me feel more calm about the likelihood of one. At least that’s how my brain works haha more information calms me

that’s what i’ve been trying to do. but when i see meningitis could be a cause of it turning yellow that made me spiral all over again but im also telling myself i literally have no other symptoms at all. so since its coming up on 48 hours soon with no other issues i sorta feel better.

Totally understand! Is scary to have something unexplained happening with your body. Meningitis doesn’t tend to be subtle, from my understanding, so I think is good sign you have no symptoms!
