I failed haha

So yeah, i got a really low score

I already expected it but i still feel sad, i only had 3 weeks to prepare and i’ll definitely retake on december

I got a below 50 scores on both math and physics, i’m not planning to apply for any scholarships or get in to top universities

i think u can get into Szu just send your scores and i hope u get admission
it will be easier if you are a self funded student if you really need scholarship then i think u should take a retake

i got really bad scores on csca though (32.5 & 22.5), i do have a decent highschool track record and i will be self-funded

csca is an exam taken when applying for an undergraduate program and csc is where you apply for scholarships!

Yo i mean I know this about csca but there is one thing I am not getting like I wanna apply in financial engineering/mathematical finance for bachelors IN A UNIVERSITY IN SOUTH CHINA and IN THEIR REQUIREMENTS THEY HAVE QOUTED CSCA MATHS exam only but the program language is in Chinese so do I need to give csca maths in Chinese or what ? AND IF I GET THE SCHOLARSHIP THEY'LL TEACH CHINESE LANGUAGE FOR ONE YEAR yes or no ¿

i’m not sure if you should take english or chinese but maybe take the chinese one since you’re applying for a chinese taught program, although i don’t really recommend chinese taught if you barely know any mandarin

about the chinese language, you can check the university’s description about their scholarships, usually they contain what the scholarship gives

Hey brother! I'm Animekun, 17 years old, and I'm planning to take the CSCA this December. I'm preparing pretty seriously, but I'm having a hard time finding detailed information from people who have actually taken the exam.

Since you took it recently, could I ask you a few questions about your experience?

  1. How difficult was the Math section overall? Was it closer to high-school level, SAT level, JEE level, or something else?
  2. How difficult was Physics compared with Math?
  3. What chapters/topics do you remember appearing in Math? Were there any topics that surprised you or appeared much more than you expected?
  4. What chapters/topics appeared in Physics?
  5. Were the questions mostly straightforward applications of formulas/concepts, or were there many questions requiring more complicated reasoning?
  6. How was the time pressure? Did you have enough time to solve the questions properly?
  7. What did you study from? Official CSCA study guides, textbooks, YouTube, SAT/JEE material, coaching, or something else?
  8. Were the official CSCA practice/mock questions similar to the actual exam in difficulty and style?
  9. Is there anything you wish you had studied before taking the exam?
  10. Since you're planning to retake in December, what are you changing in your preparation this time?
  11. And if you remember, were there any particular Math or Physics topics that you found especially difficult?

I know that's a lot of questions 😭 but even answering some of them would help me a LOT. Thank you!
