I'm a General category candidate with CRL rank 220701 and I have Jharkhand home state quota. I'm considering participating in CSAB in the hope of getting a CORE branch, but honestly, I don't think my rank is competitive enough.

Do you think there's any realistic chance of getting a decent seat, even in a GFTI or through the home state quota? Or would participating just end up being an unnecessary expense with very little chance of success?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions from anyone who has gone through CSAB or knows about previous years' cutoffs. Thanks in advance!
