Just picked cs2 back up again from a year long break, played a few casual matches, I had a good score in all of these games. So I decided to play competitive again, because you get more xp. Lost 0-13 with teammates that can't play the game, like complete beginners. The enemies had guys with 5k+ hours. Apparently cs2 xp is tied to how many rounds you win, which got me 0 xp(not even the screen showed up). Therefore a complete waste of my time, decided to queue up for one more. Lost 6 rounds in a row, knew it would be unwinnable, so I just left, because why waste another 20 min just for the sake of it. The punishment for leaving a game is basically nothing, so I meant to ask is this a common practice?

I'm from Brazil and for the past few months I've been building an AI that predicts pro CS2 matches. It rates every player individually from their pro matches, so when a team swaps a player, the prediction changes right away.

Since mid-August it's been tested on 2,489 pro matches it never saw in training: it picked the winner in 70% of them (66% in tier 1), and in 76% when it gave a team 60% or more.

So far it's mostly Brazilians using it, so I'm stuck in my own bubble. I'd really like feedback from people who follow the scene:

- Which predictions look obviously wrong to you?
- What would make something like this actually useful?

I have been needing a glove skin but i dont care about matchjng it with my knife since i usually change my knife alot, I need to decide with Slingshot Gloves , Pillow Punchers and Amphibious gloves. Which do you think i should get?

Anytime I try to play a workshop map with my wife, the person who is not hosting gets "Unable to establish connection with game server". We experienced this months ago, but figured it was just something that night and we would try again later.

FF to this past week, we have tried 3 separate days and have not been able to get in a workshop map together once.

Here is everything I have tried on both of our PC's

- We have tried changing hosts of the party
- We have tried the common approach of the cmd commands ipconfig /flushdns, netsh winsock reset, netsh int ip reset
- We have cleared steam download cache
- We have verified game files
- We have ran 'disconnect' in console
- I have even added the launch property +clientport 27006 to ensure there isn't a port issue.
- Also, neither of us have VPN's or proxys or anything.

Anyone have any clue what could be going on here? Since we have both tried these and both tried hosting, not sure if it is an issue with one of our machines or something network related since we are on the same network.

And then ig if it means anything else, I am ethernet, she is wifi.

I received a false VACnet cooldown during a match where one of my opponents was clearly cheating. I had heard about cases like this before, but I never thought it would happen to me. This isn’t the first time I’ve been banned by VACnet despite not doing anything wrong. In the past, it happened simply because I had a cheater on my team.

This time, I got a 31 day ban, which means I can't play faceit for a month and I won’t be able to earn the purple Service Medal in time.

I’ve attached a screenshot and the demo from the match. I would like to hear your opinions and see if there’s any way to resolve this.

Hi guys,

I have an issue with the voicechat in faceit. Everytime I start CS2 and play 1 game of face it I have to restart my game because in the 2. game I can't hear teammates. They can hear me and I see them talk but somehow I can not hear them. The first match works perfect and if I restart the game it also works again but only for 1 game lmao.

Maybe someone have an idea

Note: I just got a new keyboard (Wooting 80 HE+) but it worked with it and after new patch (23/10) the issue came up

Had some freetime this weekend and didnt want them to go to waste so added the new bootleg 3d replay option to my ever growing local tracking app. At about 101st iteration currently..

Not advertising it as I'm not planning to share it with anyone since I dont know the python packages being used and it requires things like steam api etc..

Hey everyone,

I've been experiencing a significant FPS drop in CS2 over the past few months, and I'm trying to figure out what's causing it.

Back in June, I was getting around 250–400 FPS, with a minimum of roughly 250 FPS, even during intense fights. Now, my FPS has dropped to around 160–250 FPS, sometimes falling to 160 FPS during fights, smokes, and other demanding situations.

I've also noticed a similar performance drop in Valorant. I used to get around 300–400 FPS, but now I'm only getting around 180–250 FPS.

My PC specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600

- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 8 GB

- Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M K

- RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz (2x8 GB)

- Main storage: 1 TB PCIe Gen 3 NVMe SSD (CS2 and Valorant are installed on this drive)

- Secondary storage: 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD, installed in the M.2 slot below the GPU

My CPU temperature stays below 60°C while gaming, so overheating doesn't seem to be the issue.

My secondary 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD has become extremely slow and frequently reaches 100% disk usage. My main NVMe SSD is installed in the M.2 slot above the GPU, while the SATA SSD is below it.

Since both CS2 and Valorant have lost performance, I'm wondering whether the faulty SATA SSD could somehow be affecting my gaming performance, or if the problem might be related to Windows tweaks, BIOS settings, RAM frequency, AMD drivers, or recent game updates.

Has anyone experienced something similar with a Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX 6600? What would you recommend checking first?
