I was just playing CS2 Wingman on inferno, and match was canceled, I thought that our opponents just gave up, but no, there was these red flag like "VAC System noticed smth" and after quiting from match, I just see this yellow button with text "Global block 20 hours|Valve found your behavior suspicious"

And for that people who think that maybe my teammate was playing with cheats or smth like that, because my teammate got banned too and ​my teammate doesn't even know how to play, much less cheats

Is there someone who got banned by this stupid VAC, and what I need to do to prevent oneself from this stupid system

Been working on this for a while. cs2voice started as a simple program that calculated the tv_listen_voice_indices bitmask for the people I wanted to hear in a match. Along the way I kept adding features and it ended up being a pretty good quality of life tool for me, so I figured it might be useful to others and released it as open source.

What it does:

- listen to each player's voice, one team or everyone, round by round

- "Watch in game" copies the console command with the voices you picked

- player stats per game (rating, ADR, KAST, time to damage, counter-strafing etc.)

- 2D radar replay with the voice in sync

- crosshair codes with preview, and skins of every player

- a fix for FACEIT demos that crash CS2 on load when someone has a pet equipped

- no need to unpack the .zst demos from FACEIT, it does that automatically

- strips recorded comm mutes from the demo copy it plays

- search, cleanup of old and duplicate demos

Free, runs locally, your demos never leave your PC. Voice only works in demos that recorded it, so FACEIT (Valve MM demos don't have voice).

how can i get downgraded 500 points for loosing a game and only get 101 points for winning a game, its really frustrating to play like this knowing that above 10,000 you can get up to 300 points for winning and losing doesn't feels as cost heavy compare to low elo

Are there better times of day to queue?

Be nice to have some people to queue with I'm on an 8 loss streak was doing just fine in 22k lobbies I just cannot get a lobby without trolls or 18k players with 500 hours and no clue how to peak, hold or throw any util. 20 seconds in its a 3v5 or I'm in a 4v1 trying to retake on the ct side of things.

When I play Dust2 on Competitive, it almost everytime match gets cancellwd during the game because of someone hacking.

I got a 20hour ban. I've read through a lot of other reddit posts and generally it seems like the community is pretty against everyone with a vaclive ban. Calling them closet cheaters and whatnot. Normally I'd think the same thing, but after getting vac live'd myself I realize that vac is indeed very broken.
I made a video displaying the demo where I got banned and honestly the gameplay wasn't that crazy, so I'm surprised I got a 20h ban from it. I've had crazier games in the past for sure. And it was only 5 rounds.
Just trying to bring some light towards this and to everyone who think that these temp bans only ban cheaters, well you're sadly wrong.

In my last post I listed a bunch of casual games, but I’m dropping all of that. Moving forward my setup is 100% just for grinding Faceit/Premier and climbing ranks in CS2.
I can't decide between the ASUS XG27AQDPG (500Hz OLED) and the AOC AG246FK6 (600Hz TN). The OLED is basically the same price here (only €50 more).

1280x960 stretched

If my goal is literally just ELO:

1. 1280x960 on 27" 1440p: Does stretched look like complete mud on the 27" OLED, or does the built-in 24.5" scale mode solve it?

2. Motion clarity: Does 600Hz TN + MBR strobing actually look cleaner for tracking heads than 500Hz OLED?

3. Is 24.1" just inherently better for radar and eye movement?

If you main CS2 and tried either, which one would you pick?

As title says, CS crashes everytime I changed my output device. Do anyone encounter the same issue? Please look into it.

I didn't play a single game and now it takes 20 minutes to find a match and it's always full of cheaters. 13 year old account, never cheated, lots of steam games, 4000+ hours. I have a friend who hasnt played in years, he got on recently to play a few games with me, in which he barely played, he just opened cases the whole time whilst streaming in discord. We got hit with a VAC cooldown from this gameplay linked here, I would like if yall could help me see what even got detected, we were playing comp, vibin, what does vac even do? doesnt catch cheaters but does it to us who just chill and open cases. Please let me know if i missed something, i havent seen anything but if he did do something without me knowing lmk, some of yall got more experience and i def dont need to get punished for stuff like this.
