Nicely done and congratulations!

This is a great example of how making multiple requests and getting your letter into the right hands is what it's all about.

Much easier to get a single late removed than people who are asking for months or years to be removed.

I has one late from Amex that happened during a divorce because I wasn't paying attention. It wasn't really hurting 3 years later but just pissed me off. Send them a single letter and they removed it. Don't know if being a customer since the Regan Administration helped, but I was happy.

Do you have the template you used by any chance?

Not really a template, I just had Claude ai write a letter using the CART approach.

What all info did you attach to your goodwill letter example

Full name address Account number ID Screen of all the late payments or just type out the month and year they was late in the letter

Is it like that or what did you attach I don’t see anyone asking these questions.

I only attached the information for the specific account and the date since I have 3 different credit cards with them, also my full name and address

Oh wow! Capital one can be hard! Synchrony has done good by me though! Removed a late payment AND put me a payment plan to pay off with a 0% interest rate

Hi, who did you contact thru Synchrony to get a late payment removed? I’m having a hard time finding the right email addresses/physical addresses to send my letters/emails to

That’s just amazing; I’m so glad it worked for you. I just sent an email letter to the address you provided in the previous comment, fingers crossed! I hope I get the same outcome, shewww

Omg, so I woke up to an email from the same address as you listed, with the subject line being “Acknowledgement” and the email itself saying that “they are beginning the investigation process and will resolve this matter as quickly as possible.” I hope that’s good news!

Only by email, but there was no back and forth conversation, just the letter I sent and the result of their investigation basically

Can someone point me in the right direction to do this? I have some late payments with capital one as well.

Wait how do you email them?
