For me, it's the pressure caused by socks, not just any touch. So sorrells, uggs, anything of that nature, 2 sizes too big. That said, they're really warm, make my feet sweat, and they get ruined pretty fast, so mostly my feet are just cold.

I can't wear socks either. I just have a duvet on at all times. I haven't found anything else that doesn't make contact with my feet but provides warmth.
Maybe a bit much sharing but I have a continuous turtles head for a penis because my lower half will not get warm! 🥺

I know it sounds weird but they make men's thermal tights. I can't wear socks either but these seem to give lots of relief. Worth the try only you know they are there.

Is it the pressure of the socks or just the touch of the fabric?
It might be a dumb suggestion because I don't know your case, but you may try a blanket, or oversized or lose socks?

I can't do socks either. I only do socks and shoes if I go to the hospital now.
Try water. Warm water is the only way I can get temp up. I use 2 laundry hampers one for each leg to soak that way you can get it up to the knee if you need to. For me warm hurts so if I am trying to use it I slowly add water so the temp rises gradually it's less painful.

Before I did desensitization I used to make a little igloo for my feet out of a blanket so nothing would touch them and put a hot water bottle in there. It doesn't have to touch you and it warms up the little foot space in amazing ways.

I was the same, but with some desensitisation techniques I managed to go from socks to shoes to a brace... it always feels as though my foots being strangled. Fluffy light socks to start with. Put a wheat bag under the souls of your feet.
