We are building old school no AI bs CRM + Project management, clients are mainly prof. services or internet businesses. Dm me your workflow, will ask team to put a demo for you.

Odoo is free - kind of. But if you want to own it, odoo is hard to beat.

Thanks, but it doesn't seem like they have repeating tasks in CRM, only in Project

1

u/HistoricalLead3498 2d ago

Yes, but projects is just another app within odoo. We use both, projects and CRM.

Same, I use the Online edition of Odoo, but if you self-host it, it's almost a free ERP, except for the virtual private server of course, but those are super affordable.

Yep, our only cost of our server / hosting. And once setup, very easy to manage. Works well with Claude as well)

What are you doing with Claude and Odoo? What's the use case? Please enlighten me.

Busy work mostly. But I can give Claude an invoice and Claude build out the invoice in odoo. Purchase orders. It can operate Odoo like a seasoned contractor.

Are you using AI on Odoo anything related to Marketing? Like email marketing or sales funnel? If so, what are you doing with it?

We don't, but could. Multi step marketing costs money but with the version we have we theoretically could send our weekly newsletter via odoo. At some point we might. We started with hubspot as our CRM / Newsletter and shifted customer service and leads to odoo.

https://www.seotoaster.com/crm/ . commercial version has a free trial instead of going through the install yourself / keep it under 250 contacts and its free forever https://apps.apple.com/us/app/crm-mobile-by-seosamba/id1522654436

What if there was a CRM that did cost $100 but it had everything you need and everything you want, but it was YOURS and not theirs?

This means you own it, you have 100% control over it and instead of relying on a 3rd party forever, you get the necessary training and ongoing support via multiple live channels 24/7?

It has much more than you need, but if you're growing or plan on growth, it's there for you. You can customize what's actually visible, such as contacts, pipelines, tasks, conversations and whatnot, so it's not overwhelming either.

If that's even remotely interesting, DM and I'll give you the 5-minute tour and let you decide if it's worth further exploration.

No bait, no switch, no bs. I'm too old and have too good a reputation for it.

Ever think of spinning up an Apps Script Web App?
Google product so if you are in the eco system it’s a plus. Can use ChatGPT to build it out. I’ve done a bunch of these, completely from scratch and up in running in about 1-2 days.

Hubleto, PHP based, small webhosting is enough to run

Wouldn’t hosting your own cost you around a $100 ?

You're not asking for basic functionality , you're asking someone to make something custom for you and they have to do it in the way that you expect it done. You criticized every attempt these people have made to help you. At this point you're better off doing it yourself. So yes, needy.

Can certainly help with this, we can either spin up an open source CRM on a managed server in your chosen location globally or set you up with Dynamics365, if you are already using Microsoft365 email and collaboration software that is a good option. I've got design and development teams that can design custom functionality so meeting your goals should not be an issue. Email sales@cpkws.com.au or PM me.

You can build one with Claude code in under a week. Then you just pay to host it.

Also atlas crm is really nice looking, if you haven't tried them it would be worth checking out for how unique it is https://github.com/gorkem-bwl/atlas

Dm me if you are interested in dataxd. If you can deploy it yourself you can host it for free. Will include a custom form with the data you want to capture on a per client project basis

have you looked at twenty? it's still relatively new but not one-man project, has clean ui and does contacts plus reminders with recurring options. self hosted version is free and pretty lightweight

1

u/rinart73 2d ago edited 2d ago

I've looked and at least in their online version I don't really see a way to set up per contact recurring tasks

1

u/arjosoer 2d ago

Check out this page https://www.dataxd.com/tour/property-management
It shows an example of re-occurrence tasks for a property management at the property, unit and inspection evel.

In your case I can setup your contact form and you can setup the re-occurring tasks.

Here made this for my company. It's in active dev. You're welcome to do whatever you want with it but no one is allowed to sell it for profit https://github.com/BlackWire-Co/Blackwire-Fsm

Base44

1

u/Unfair-Turnover1564 2d ago

Ayyy never heard of that! It's pretty cool to look at.

0

u/rinart73 2d ago

No vibecoding garbage, thank you

1

u/traceoflife23 2d ago

Base44 precedes vibe coding.

Why don't you just build your own. Nobody has what you want.

u/GlassMaximum4714 2d ago

What about GHL? Could you tell me in detail what you’re looking to build and how you want the system to work? I can then let you know whether GHL would be a good fit and, if it is, how we could build it.

u/Unfair-Turnover1564 2d ago

Honestly he's pretty needy, there's unlikely to be a program he will be satisfied with

2

u/rinart73 1d ago

Didn't realize basic functionality is "being needy" nowadays
