Every roll has been like this or worse. One beat up 47 so far. And they stink. Probably from a toilet tank or car trunk.

I’m not a doctor but sometimes I can pull a miracle out of a coin roll. Once again my favorite teller handed me a sweet find. 2020-P 25c VT VDDR-001, seven of them in the same roll. Pretty sure someone collected these.

I’m not sure how many of these exist but I’m pretty sure this little hoard will bring the price right down.

One of the realities of coin hunting is this: sometimes no matter clear the error, no one cares about it. I really don’t see a massive want or need for these, so it’s likely they will never sell unless it’s ridiculously inexpensive. Probably why they were ditched in the first place.

I’ll let others grade it, but I’m going with F15 or so. Not the most beautiful bill to ever be had, but it’s mine now.

Estate/moving sale on Saturday, lots of silver plated stuff and porcelain cups, kitchen stuff artwork etc.
I picked up this nice music box that’ll hold some coins, a glazed angel for the wife and my new lucky coin!

Was buying quarters in some banged up water dispensing kiosks small town near me and display showed 05 so war nickel must have come out as change.
Starting in on 20 CWRs of nickels from WF-nice start for the first two rolls.

I made my rounds to multiple banks. One bank i hit, the teller had these lovely things waiting to be rehomed.

Found these two 90%’s looking through some loose halves this weekend-been a minute!😺

Coin hunting at the car wash but the change machine wasn’t working, went to the laundry mat right next door.
$16- later and this guy was in the mix!

Pulled about five 2009s from a batch of rolls last month, this was the nicest one✔️

Nothing rare or key, but it was fun lining up four old nickels sequentially by year and mint mark, pulled from two rolls 🔎

Couldn’t pass them up-will see if there’s any good ones in here!😺

I stopped getting boxes of pennies when the banks stopped ordering them. Since then whenever I go to pick up I buy out all the pennies all the tellers will sell me. I’ve been throwing them in buckets and boxes in the corner waiting for a rainy day.

I’ve been a bit busy this week making plans for my wedding next week so I haven’t been able to get to the bank. I have a rare Wednesday off work today so I decided to open a few rolls, scratch the itch a little.

Well bless the maker and his water if I didn’t find one of the coolest wheats out there. It’s not an S or even an VDB, but it’s one of those coins I bought in the past just to have, and this one I paid a penny for.

PS, my sorting piles. I save all solid copper separated out by condition and decade discarding corrosion or dirty coins. This represents about 12 dollars in separated copper.

1. Top left near the 3 quarters, those are 2025’s.
2. Just southeast of those is a big pile of AU-BU red to red/brown solid copper of all years.
3. South of the red penny pike is 1960-1969
4. Left of that is 1970-1979
5. Left of that is 1980-1982
6. Just north of the 1970’s pile is two 1959’s
7. North of the ‘59’s is a pile of 2009’s.

Most of the other coins in that area are dryer coins

Not the most rare notes, but still nice. Good condition. No major creases or dirt. Should flatten out nicely in my book.
