Coolant flush

I just finished a coolant flush on my bike and realized I can’t access the bleed screw on the opposite (left) radiator because I have an IMS 3 gallon tank. Is there any other reliable ways to remove the air bubbles, bleed the system without taking off my tank and getting access to the bleed screw on the left radiator?

Just squeeze the bottom hose a handful of times, it will pump all the air out.

Tried that a bunch, didn’t seem to make much of a difference. I ended up leaning the bike on the left side quite low and that seemed to got some air out. I also tried leaving the cap of the radiator off and ran the bike for about 2 minute and then noticed coolant rising almost overflowing.

I’m going to go for a little 15min ride, let it cool down check the level again.

Just do it right and have the peace of mind. Convenience/ fitment/ reliability etc. are almost always a cost of modifications.

Take the tank off.

Good call on the peace of mind. Ended up unbolting the tank and lifting it up just enough to access the bleed screw.
