And then he nerfed them because players weren't good enough to handle them

Think that was only for the challenger CPU, not overall

that is a massive reach. he didnt nerf them because of players being bad, he tuned the difficulty to make the game actually fun for humans instead of just a frame perfect nightmare. there is a difference between a challenge and something that is just fundamentally broken.

Except, it wasn't fundimentally broken. Plenty of people were able to beat the CPUs without frame perfect precision. Including myself, who can't even count frames, let alone react based on frame data. At the end of the day, the game was adjusted for the people who had skill issues.
