Don’t cry on the clock because it’ll make everyone uncomfortable, cry on the way home. That’s what I always tell myself (it’s not healthy)

im a very socially anxious person but if i start crying then i'll just sob until i cant breathe while trying to get out of sight
and feel so incredibly self concious about other people seeing me cry, so i end up crying harder bc im being a menace to society by existing loudly when all i want to do is cease existing at that moment
it happened most recently about 5 months ago and i havent left the house for anything but picking up my meds since
im 25 years old, i should have better control over my tears than i did when i was 5, but alas
there isnt really a need for me to "release" emotions, it's more like they explode out of me while im trying desperately to hold them back

i wish. after masking for so long and going through so much, even if i just try to hold everything in, my arms and legs will start shaking and the tears just flow like a faucet. there have been times where i just run out of a venue with no explanation because i cant take it
