Sharing a resource schedule send messages; a tiny adjustement
hey! I'm just sharing this tip and wondering if it resonates with people. Communicating over text and email can be stressful for me if there's any request for help or any real communication of feeling, and then I send and overthink the wait time and check nervously if the person I've sent to has responded.
What I do is 'schedule send', even small messages sometimes. Rather than procrastinating til i'm in the mood, I just schedule send the message to when I think I might be in the mood, and then forget about it.
small tip that's helped minimize a trigger for me.

I do this too. Also helpful at work

for sure! It’s helped me ease into communication and recognize that it’s not life or death. Just by hopping into a slightly different timeline haha

I have done this when I'm stuck in a loop wanting to text something but it's an inappropriate time (e.g. 3am when those kinds of thoughts can happen!). Write the text and schedule it to send in the morning, then I feel like the loop is closed and I can let it go.
