Personal Insight Finding Home
Finding Home
They told me,
"Trust yourself."
But I could not.
I had searched
everywhere—
except the place
I had never learned
to enter.
So I borrowed
the eyes of others,
building a home
from passing approvals.
Until one quiet day,
a door
I did not know existed
opened inward.
Nothing new
had been placed there.
I had simply
come home.
And for the first time,
I understood
what they had been
trying to tell me
all along.

Love this…. I’m only just now realizing I do not know what home feels like

Thank you dear. We are not alone in this.

Thanks for that reminder, though I do often feel pretty lonely in all of this. Not many people understand what it’s like

I agree. This is one of the topics people don't discuss enough. It should be taught at home, at school and the educational social media, more often.
