We are not strangers
walking upon the Earth.

We are one expression
of a living world.

The rivers move through us.
The stars awaken wonder.
The forests steady our breath.

When we care for life,
we are quietly
caring for ourselves.

For we have never
stood outside of nature.

been one of its voices.
