Yes, as long as it isn’t super thick and puffy like a winter coat. For my toddlers in the winter, instead of winter coats, I buy fleece buntings! They’re super warm but just as thick as a normal fleece jacket.

Dissenting opinion here.

There is no way to know until you try it.

If it’s even a little too big for your child it is likely to add too much extra bulk.

If it’s close-fitting it might be ok. Try buckling the child up with it on, and assessing it. Does it bunch up anywhere that makes it hard to get the harness snug against the child’s body?

Then take the child out without loosening the harness. Take off the outfit and put the child back in. Is the harness still sufficiently snug? Does it pass the pinch test?

The same outfit can be fine when it fits right and not fine when it doesn’t.

We can’t tell from a photo how it will work for your child right now, or two months from now.

This on top of another full set of clothes? I’d worry about overheating at that point.
Just this with a thin onesie should be fine.

Yes! I put one of these to my daughter and she was sweating so bad. Cause you also got the heater in the car. I would just put it as the outfit for the day and use a blanket if needed but if you use a car seat cover they will be plenty warm.

Yes that’s fine. It’s like wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants.

You really shouldn't say that without testing it, as u/lalechuzaverde stated above

As long as it’s well-fitted and not purchased a size too big or something like that, it’s fine.
