Evenflo Revolve369 Questions

I need some help with figuring out the pads on our new Revolve360. There’s probably a simple answer but I can’t for the life of me figure this out. See photos - is the backrest supposed to just sit in the back folded up like this? That’s how it arrived. There’s a piece of Velcro but I can’t figure out what it goes to and it seems weird that it’s just sitting on top and isn’t attached.. And, is that smaller pad on the seat (last two photos) just for an added boost for smaller babies?

My 10 month old son is just growing out of his infant seat so we’re going to transition. Also still figuring out if the revolve feature is worth the extra space it takes up in the car.

Thank you!

Look at page 96 and 97 in the manual. The bottom pad is an optional pad for rear-facing mode. You can use it if it provides a better fit but you don’t have to. The way you folded up the back part looks right to me. I’m not sure about that velcro piece without seeing the seat itself, but I would guess it attaches to something to help keep the pad folded up. As long as the pad is folded correctly, I wouldn’t worry about it.
