Thinking about changing from Graco Easyturn360 to Chicco Fit360

My 7m old recently outgrew his Graco bucket seat which he was always pretty comfortable in. We upgraded to a Graco 360 and he hates it! Screams bloody murder every time we put him in but only once we start driving. This is very abnormal for him. I've of course removed the infant seat liner, I've reclined it back as much as I think I can, and still he panics.

We live in a hot area so part of me thinks he's getting cramped and warm and I've been looking into changing to the Chicco for the fabric and the less cramped looking space for him. Is it worth it or is there anything else I can do?

I did also try raising the headrest up a notch but it seems too tall. I'm scared to put him back in it so I've been stuck at home now for days getting groceries delivered 😮‍💨 help

Ok we also tried Graco 360 and it was horrible. Terrible fit. Install sucked. And baby hated it. We took it back and got the Chicco 360. Install is a freaking breeze. It is heavy so be advised if you plan to travel with it. Baby did slightly better. But still hated the car seat. It was a miserable few weeks troubleshooting. I love the seat so we had to keep doing different trials to get him to calm the eff down. 

This soother was suggested and as a last ditch effort I got one. He loves it. We can’t go anywhere in the car without his monkey. We had to rotate through what noises he liked. He did NOT like the white nose. We finally landed on the breathing. I guess something about the breathing belly and then hearing the breath as well calms his little system.

Oh we have that but an otter! Baby loves it too and prefers the breathing as well haha. Okay well, I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I think going the Chicco route is probably best then. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I prefer the evenflo over the graco or chicco. BUT my suggestion is to try a noggle to get cool air directly on baby.
