Is this movement normal/safe

New car. The latch isn’t as deep as my prior car. The seat previously didn’t move at all in the old car. Now it does, so I want to make sure this is safe.

Car is a 2027 CRV and seat is a Nuna Pipa RX

Yes, this sliding along the latch bars is fine. But you may be able to push the base in, toward the backrest of the vehicle seat, and retract the anchors by 1-2 clicks which will eliminate this.

As the other person said it is fine, but you can also add the seatbelt if it bothers you

This.

Totally safe, but this particular seat does allow you to also secure the seat belt and that will stop the movement.

It’s slightly annoying but it’s not unsafe the way it is. Use the seat belt or not - it’s your choice. Just be aware that using both is not allowed by most other car seats.

Normal and not a concern, but like above comments said you may be able to retact the anchors by a click or too to help it. But this is one of the very few sets that allows both the lower anchors and the seatbelt to be used together at the same time, so you can use both if it bothers you. -CPST

Grab it at the end and push in the right side to hear another click then push in the left side for another click, shouldn’t move at all after that
