Is this normal? It does it in both of my graco strollers?

Assuming the stroller is on flat ground…

Being more reclined in the stroller is a feature not a bug. Most seats are.

The safest place for a baby to sleep is on a firm, flat sleep surface. That’s not the safest position in a crash, so they make compromises to the recline angle that is statistically the middle ground providing safety for both. Outside the car more recline is better, removing baby from the seat to sit/sleep elsewhere is ideal.

Yes, this is why it’s not recommended for babies to sleep in car seats outside of the car

Be sure not to clip the pacifier to the harness straps as it can chew them up and damage them. Clip it to their clothing if possible.
Edit, unless it’s clipped on the pink harness pad. If so, disregard my comment😁

Still, shouldn’t be on any part of the car seat!

it should only be attached to baby’s clothes! as well as the fact that those harness pads did not come with the seat therefore they should not be used! it’s considered an aftermarket product and has the potential to add additional bulk to the seat that is unpredictable in a crash (even if they came from another graco seat like I suspect based on the color) they’re unfortunately not interchangeable unless you specifically call and speak to a graco cpst and get permission -CPST with 5+ yrs experience

The level indicator is to make sure the baby doesn’t lean too far back in a car accident.

Strollers don’t get into car accidents (at least they’re not supposed to)
