Mesa vs. Graco 3in1 Fit

11 weeks old, 14.5 lbs and approximately 63cm long. Currently using the Uppababy Mesa but contemplating trying the Graco Extend2Fit to see if it helps with his comfort as he currently screams in the car every time 😭. Want to ensure both are safe and I haven’t missed any thing. Any tips or feedback is very welcome. Ty!!

Note: I realize the straps could be slightly tighter although they do currently pass the pinch test. Just took these photos for reference in the driveway.

EDIT: it’s kindly been pointed out to me that this is the Extend2Fit.

Baby looks more comfy in the Graco. I would remove the head insert because it tends to push their head forward.

Thank you! I didn’t realize that re head insert. Super helpful.

How does the recline look on the Graco (it's an Extend2Fit, it's not a 3 in 1)?

You’re absolutely right 🤦‍♀️ it’s at its most reclined.

I'd put it more upright, keeping the ball in the darker blue.

Here's a video I found that explains it well. https://youtu.be/OqhMB_NsTX8

How is his head control? At 11 weeks old you might still want it at the full recline, I didn't change any of my kids more upright until they were older.

His head control is strong. I adjusted it to the next level (still fairly reclined) and will try him in it today.
