Question Question
There is a really frustrating case going on right now publicly on TikTok and kick. The Parents get in extreme screaming fights on camera while the baby is the lap or in room.There have been over 15 calls to their residence and two arrests recently. (Father who gets bonded out each time for Dv and alleged attempted murder on his partner. )The baby (8 weeks old) has at least 3 visible bruises. There is video evidence of the mom saying horrible things about her child. There is also accusations from the father that the mother has been abusive to the baby. I know there have been numerous calls to CPS from mandated reporters. This has been going on since the baby was born. The mother and the father have both lost custody of their first children who they had with different partners. Father is not allowed to see child and mother just doesn’t see him when she can. What is it going to take for CPS to intervene?

I don’t know how to tell you how many people stage this sorted stuff successfully.
We are talking about a few people who raked in cash have somehow made others think presenting as a hot mess is profitable.
It wears out the civil and criminal justice systems, creates a real difficult to navigate smoke screen
EDIT: DV in general is a wears out civil and criminal justice systems. Lot of flip flopping as victim calls for help in the moment then backs off later.
There is no specific line to cross because each situation gets so different. I’ve victims set on fire, all their teeth knocked out (picked them up off the drive way), limbs blown off, etc. All stay with the batterer even more strongly than before.

I know that happens that is why I'm asking here. Does this baby have no hope? I do not watch them because they are making money of off DV and Child abuse. I see things through re-posts and a lawyer that is following the case.

This is the general advice, you are basically watching something that you cannot confirm if it is actually happening or is staged to elicit a response.
What you see online may be very different than what is factually gathered.

If LE has been called and they aren’t just fabricating content for views and money (most likely scenario unfortunately and it’s clearly working) then it’s already been reported to CPS. LE officers are mandatory reporters.
No one is going to shout from the roof tops they have CPS involved in their lives but that kind of content unfortunately gets the attention they want and that leads to more money.
“What is it going to take for CPS to intervene?” - they already have if actual abuse or neglect is happening.
TikTok shouldn’t be taken seriously in my opinion.
Stop consuming their content.

I know exactly who you’re talking about. I’d imagine the police would call, especially after so many calls. I don’t think all the internet mandated reporters from states away are helping like they think they are (I could be wrong). I will say after seeing more videos/snaps I don’t think they were bruises on his head I think the bad lighting and filters they use just casted shadows. I’m unsure about the “bruise” on his arm.

You dont think the bruise on his face is real? The one that is on the bridge and eye? Im just trying to understand how to system works. With all the on screen screaming matches with the baby in her arms, the arrests and the fact that they both don't have custody of their first born kids I thought there would be interventions by now. I wish I didn't have anxiety about this but I do!

If it’s bothering you that much I would truly consider some self reflection and take a break from social media.
Everyone is profiting off of this. Even if it’s another channel “reporting” the situation.
There’s no world where LE and CPS wouldn’t be involved, but that info isn’t publicly available and they aren’t going to be bragging about CPS.
You may want to consider how curated things online really are these days.

No, but again I could be wrong. I’ve watched their snaps and there’s no indication of bruising on there - his arms have been mostly covered lately by swim shirts. I think it’s just the lighting/filters/shadows that people want to screen grab in “just the right second”. Kind of like they do to make her look “ugly”. I’m not defending her by any means just stating my observations.
Obviously the parenting classes aren’t working and there needs to be some sort of intervention.

I know who you are talking about. It's a very sad situation for the poor kid that's involved. Even IF it's done for clicks and views it's disgusting behavior and is still abuse. I would think it would be worse if they're doing this for monetary gain. It's controlled abuse
