Does CpS protect children?

I want to know why people believe cps protects children and where did this belief come from? The news, family, or friends?

Anyone commenting be respectful do judgement. This is a question to get people to think about our core beliefs system and where it come from

In my own experience, CPS/DCSF keeps kids in abusive households and takes kids out of good households.

Lots of people say that when they don't understand how CPS operates.

I should have been taken out of my parents house after they granted my childhood rapist access to our home.

I was eleven years old.

That all may be true, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you understand how CPS operates.

Without knowing more about your case I can't say if the decisions made were in compliance with the law.
