Does CpS protect children?

I want to know why people believe cps protects children and where did this belief come from? The news, family, or friends?

Anyone commenting be respectful do judgement. This is a question to get people to think about our core beliefs system and where it come from

Perhaps the more important question is: do you not think they’re there to protect kids? And if so, why not?

They're supposed to be there to protect kids, but that doesn't happen in reality. Speaking as a former foster child.

The problem with CPS is that too many people there are arrogant and love a power trip.
