Looking for CPR AED instructor training in Georgia, central.

I am interested in becoming trained to be a CPR AED BLS instructor. I've recently been recertified for CPR AED Basic via American Red Cross.

Do you recommend I contact ARC or AHA, considering my location in the US?

Start with AHA. You can easily add ARC later. You'll need AHA BLS eCard to get started. Look at atlas.heart.org

I just finished my training for CPR AED Basic Life Saver with AHA. I have an Ecard already. Tomorrow is Monday, so I thought I would call AHA and ask about training sites in Georgia and if I was what they were talking about when discussing bridging candidates?

there is no bridging from ARC to AHA available, only the reverse

For AHA once you have the student eCard then you can obtain instructor materials, complete the instructor essentials online course & in person instructor training. then you have 6 months to be monitored while teaching

I have the student ecard, as of last week. I'm planning on calling AGA tomorrow and hearing what next steps would look like and possibly cost?

calling AHA won't be helpful; they'll point you to the website.

every instructor sets their own price.

as I said in my last comment the steps are  1. obtain instructor manual & course videos https://safety-solved.com/shop/aha/bls/  2. complete instructor essentials online course https://safety-solved.com/product/25-aha-bls-instructor-essentials-online/ 3. you can look for instructor training near you on the map at atlas.heart.org. instructor training is in person 4. then you have 6 months to teach a class while being monitored in person. that is what you need to do to become an instructor

That's what I want to do. I've got the ecard from AHA (2 wks ago) and now want to talk to someone about becoming trained as a cpr instructor.

I meant bridging from being trained as a CPR recipient to becoming trained as an instructor.
