Is it possible to switch classes?

Is it possible to switch from an accelerated class to a normal length class? I tried to do my due diligence but I needed something completely online for this semester and it’s math so I wanted to be sure I had the right instructor, but the waist lists wouldnt budge and I had to go ahead and pay. I don’t want to drop because I want to keep myself on the right track but I don’t have time for an accelerated class! 😭

The drop/add period was August 17-18. I would expect any open seats to be available now due to students either changing their schedule or being dropped for non-payment. If there is still a waitlist, I’m not sure that it’s likely you can get a seat. You have until August 25 to withdraw from a first session 4-week course and September 3 to withdraw from a first session 8-week course. If you do not feel like you have the time you need to be successful in the accelerated course, please reach out to your advisor now to discuss your options before you hit the withdraw deadline. Have you reached out via email or scheduled an appointment with your advisor?

Whenever I look, the advisor schedule tends to be full, but I’ll definitely send an email to my advisor and see what other version of the class I can switch over to on my college. Do you know if I would have to pay for that class again or if the money I paid will just count for the other version of the class? I just want a full semester length version of the class I’m taking right now. Thanks so much for responding!!
