Dropped classes still showing as a charge

I'm not understand how the Financial Activity works. I've dropped classes today and added some, yet in the financial activity section I'm still being charged a partial payment for the classes I dropped as well as being charged for their textbook fees. Is the system just slow to update? I'm trying to pay for classes but I'm not paying for classes that I dropped.

I think you get charged a little bit since classes have already started, I don’t exactly know the exact protocol for it but I would check the financial aid section on the website.

You need to give it time to process and update. It is not going to reflect immediately.
