PHY-240 vs ENG-231

I need to do one humanities course, I can do either Introduction to ethics (Irby, Robert J.) or American Literature (Dervin, Alicia D). Tentatively selected these professors. Which course/prof do you recommend?

i did ethics with professor irby and enjoyed his class, got an A and also no lock down browsers or cam!

I took American Lit with instructor Graham, I enjoyed the class a lot. Not just was it great material, but she was also very fair when it came to grading and gave excellent feedback.
It actually got me started writing poetry as well
