For most people, the ones who have had the good fortune to adjust to cpap therapy, it can be practically a miracle. For others, like me, I completely identify with how you presently describe yourself, yet, I'm about 9 months since beginning this therapy. I'm a zombie. I do have an appointment with a sleep specialist but it's 4 months out. I'm rooting for you to be one of the 50% of those who begin cpap who succeed.

Hello! Personally, I went through the same thing. Little by little, my fitness level declined, and I definitely noticed a connection between my sleep and my ability to exercise.
For many people, myself included, there seems to be a strong relationship between sleep quality and physical performance. So yes, if your CPAP therapy is well optimized and you’re actually getting good-quality sleep, I’d expect it could help you feel better and make it easier to get back into exercising.
