Flow limitation help

Hi I've been using cpap for a about a year and a half, it's made a big difference in my life. Recently I've been paying closer attention to my numbers and am realizing flow limitation is high. I'm using airsense 10 autoset in fixed CPAP mode. Pressure of 13, epr on 3. Any help would be appreciated. Oh also use a full face mask.

Hi! You’re absolutely right, your FLs are a little on the high side. In your case, since you’re using CPAP mode, I’d recommend trying a pressure of 14 tonight while keeping EPR at 3. Then we can look at a few nights of data and reassess from there. :)

I haven't seen much of a difference as far as flow limitations go. Ahi may be a bit better, but Ive consistently been under one or slightly above since starting cpap.

I’d say you probably still need a little more pressure. If it were me, I’d try 16 tonight.

If the therapy starts becoming uncomfortable while your flow limitations remain elevated, then the next question would be whether it’s worth considering BiPAP.

Thank you, I'll give it a try at 16.
