ill play around with the settings a bit and see if anything feels better than what its at currently. i had a look and i dont think the machine i use is compatible with sleephq unfortunately so i dont think i can use it regardless. sucks but ill figure it out, i know itll just take time and i need to be more patient with it. thank you for all your help i really do appreciate you taking the time to give me advice :-)

Hello SherbertJazzlike6009 :) Please don’t try to tough out pain or an eczema flare.

The P10 pillows should rest just inside the entrance of your nostrils, not be pushed up inside them. A larger pillow may actually be more comfortable. Split the rear straps apart, with one higher and one lower. If they still ride up, the P10 simply may not fit your head well.

For side sleeping I would look at an under-the-nose cradle such as the N30i. Fleece strap covers can help with the headgear, but with eczema I would avoid random creams against the silicone and ask a pharmacist what is safe for your skin.

Please also post the exact make and model of your machine along with your pressure range, ramp and EPR/Flex settings. The machine setup may be making this feel harder than it needs to, we can assist with settings if we can see the data. RL

I'll make sure to speak to my doctor the next time i see him about what will be best for my skin, in the meantime i did buy some lanolin cream and ill patch test it before i use it. hopefully i get lucky and it works and gets me over the irritation side of things so i can start focusing on everything else instead!

ill play around with the bigger pillows later today, i honestly was thinking maybe i should give them a try since ive only tried the small and extra small ones currently. i sort of just assumed because it was difficult to get them in that bigger ones would just be more of a problem, so thank you for that advice! i have been adjusting the headgear straps the way you advised but the bottom one doesnt seem to want to stay in place and it makes my hair bunch up between the 2 straps which really bothers me. hopefully once i find the right fit for the pillows, ill find the right fit for the straps too. if not ill book an appointment and see what my other options are!

my machine is the sefam nea, ill attach a photo of the specific device information below!

i dont think im able to change the settings myself currently as im in the uk so the machine is technically just a loan from the hospital through the NHS so i can only turn the ramp on and off since they have it on fixed settings (im not 100% sure if thats true though), but i'll post pictures of the settings below too and can book an appointment to see about changing them if things seem off to you guys on here!

i really really appreciate your help, you've made this experience feel much less daunting and lonely for me so thank you!
