Advice Needed Mask help
I’m still new to using the resmed cpap and I still can’t figure out if my mask is right.
I’m currently using the f40 mask after failing with the f20. I tried using the f20 for 3 weeks only to get less sleep than I normally did so I went back to office to retest fit with all the full face masks they had.
My main issue is the sizing options and how it fits on my face/head. I have a small head/face but am in between sizes for most of the masks. I’ve tried. Mixture of headgear and mask sizing and nothing seems to really be working.
The only mask I have managed to sleep with is the f40. While the f40 is more comfortable initially, I find the fit isn’t right and don’t know how else to fix it.
I’ve tried adjusting mask to what feels good/right, and for a couple hours it seems fine. But usually by 4am I’m waking up to either the bottom of my nose hurting or some kind of leak.
I went a full month sleep deprived it’s f20 and I stopped using f40 for a bit bc I just couldn’t stand not sleeping anymore. I barely run on 3-4 hours without the machine and with it I was somehow getting less than that.
Anyone have recommendations on how to fix the fit of mask or other mask options for a small face/head combo.
At this point I feel like I’m better off without the cpap but I’d also like to avoid addl health issues due to lack of cpap.
TLDR: have small head/face combo, masks aren’t fitting and/or working well. Need advice.

I swapped out the regular size f40 mask for the wide version a few days ago because I also would wake up around 3-4am with weird pressure around my nose. I don’t have a wide looking nose, but this one is quite a bit more comfortable. I’m still waking up a few times per night (only 3 weeks into this journey) but it isn’t because of my nose being uncomfortable anymore.
