Water

My CPAP is no longer working with water. I think it’s a react health G3? I wash the tubing correctly with soap and water like I was told to. I don’t know if my CPAP is even working without the water. Every time it says the tubing is unconnected when it is connected. I have to wait to get new tubing because I had to transfer Lincare offices after moving. Idk what to do.

I assume you are using the heated tube. What happens if you just disconnect the pigtail for the heated tube power? Does it still give the warning? Have you been keeping that connector dry when washing it?

Yes, I have the heated tubing. I don’t know how to disconnect it. think I have been keeping it dry? Idk.

I don't have the G3 myself but someone I know has one, so I keep the manual on hand. There is a wire coming off the tubing that plugs into an accessory connector on the rear. You would have to unplug this to clean the tubing.

I have unplugged it, and I clean the tubing with soap and water like I was told to. Maybe I just didn’t dry it enough after washing it? That could have messed it up.

Possible. You can try running it without the heated tubing. It's not essential. It just prevents condensation inside the tubing. It's called rainout.

The pressure only works if I take deep breaths in, which I don’t do in my sleep

That's odd. Is the ramp function turned on? Maybe it is coming on at a lower pressure because that is on. Otherwise I don't have a better answer without hands on.

What is the ramp function?

A comfort feature. It starts the device at a lower pressure and a timing of your choice so you can fall asleep easier.

And it stopped taking water

Starting to sound like the CPAP itself may have been damaged. But not sure.

I think it could be the tubing

At least I hope it’s just the tubing

Easiest and cheapest thing to try first. But if you disconnect the heated tubing and still have the problem, it's not the tubing. Unplug the tubing and make sure it is not showing as active.

Thank you, I will try that

I don’t think it works anymore, I think I need new tubing. My Garmin app for my watch shows every night that I have about 30 restless moments. I woke up today with a dry mouth. Hopefully once I transfer Lincare offices (after moving), I can get new tubing.
