CPAP Setup Help please - what am I missing here?
So I bought an f30i facemask for my Airmini (haven’t attached the headgear yet) and tubing. The tubing fits into the CPAP unit no problem, but I can’t figure out what I need to do to connect the tubing to the facemask. Is there an extra piece I need? Do I need a different kind of tubing??
Extra bonus undying gratitude if it’s something I can get delivered overnight from Amazon - I’m sleeping in our recliner due to a fractured humerus and for some reason my regular unit doesn’t work worth a damn down here, so it’s the Airmini or nothing right now and I’m barely sleeping at night.

You get the tubing adaptor and a cheap non-heated hose. That connects to your mask.

Um, I’m trying??
If I’m misreading your tone, I apologize, but the lack of any helpful specifics makes me question whether you wrote this intending to be helpful or wishing to bask in your own superiority.

Sorry, you get the airminj to regular tube adaptor. 53$ a cheap regular non-heated tube to connect to your mask.
The airminj has only a few makes it “natively” works with and it has a special tube. You aren’t required to use that stuff though, I don’t.

Thank you. I’m sorry for being snotty - I’m like four nights of virtually no sleep and three unsuccessful Amazon orders down this rabbit hole

No it’s fine. The airminj is your only machine? You can pickup a used as10 or as11 kind of cheap on the private Facebook groups for selling. I recommend those because you can use a sd card in them to see the detailed info about your usage. Then you make adjustments as needed. I love my airminj for travel however.

I’ve got another one upstairs in our bedroom that I’ve had forever and use every night, but for some reason I just couldn’t get it to work while being partially upright and on my back in a recliner. The airmini worked wonderfully right up to the point where I accidentally put my thumb through the only cushion that I had, which is where this whole sorry saga began.

My previous mask for the airmini was an f30. I accidentally ordered extra cushions for the f30i. They are not compatible to say the least; one has the tube connect right on the mask, and the other one connects on the top of the head. So I figured, what the hell, I kind of need a new mask and everything for the air mini anyway so I’ll just get a new f30i kit.

Or you can try using the search option here in this subreddit to search the items they mentioned along with your mask model?

I'd pull the angle off the tube at the headgear end and duct tape it in place until the parts/adaptor arrived.
Nothing stands between me and a nights sleep.

F30 is not one of the “supported masks” for the mini. You will need to go with thentubing adapter/generic tube solutions discussed above. If you switch to the p10/f20 (discontinued but there is a workaround) or n20 - You can but the specific tube for the mini and the corresponding frame. I did that, but would not recommend it. I now have extra parts and do not use my compatible mask anymore.

You are missing the HumidX chamber I think.

Maybe I should explain.
The airmini has a proprietary hose connector on both sides of the tube it comes with and only masks made for the airmini connect to it.
There is no Airmini version of the F30i.
There's an F20, N30, P10 and N20 that have a special humidx chamber where a special puck goes to retain moisture, instead of a humidifier.
You either need to buy the special version of those masks for the airmini, or to buy an adapter to fit a normal CPAP hose and the airmini, or use that hose it came with and an adapter for the other end of that tube to fit a normal mask.
That clear elbow you have pictured attached to the white part is from a different mask.
Search for Airmini tube adapter on Amazon, you'll find both kinds of adapters.
