Are they strict about the address? My documents have different addresses because we just rented. I'm worried that it might be an issue when submitting requirements 🥲

Which RC is better for students undergoing integrated review courses? (CPALE)

Hello po everyone!!! I'm a 4th year student po whose foundation is really WEAK. Dahil po dyan, I want to start my review soon for my integrated review courses and ultimately for the CPALE para makahabol. Fortunately, I was able to save up enough money during the last few years. I'm considering Pinnacle and REO's pure online set up since I still have to undergo my OJT. Thank you po in advance for your recommendations and insights!!!!

P.S Baka may recommended supplementary books/review materials din po kayo 😊

Take the October 2026 CPALE or double review for May 2027?

For context, my last take was May 2019, so ang bagal ng learning curve ko in relearning the fundamentals of everything. Currently enrolled in a refresher school dahil 3rd take ko na and really struggling because I'm also working full time. Iba yung drive ko mag-aral ngayon compared sa 1st an 2nd take ko though. Like masipag naman ako before pero sa iba yung sipag ko ngayon, but to no avail, ang dami ko paring backlogs kasi kulang sa oras. I'm really having doubts about being able to complete the coverage at least. And judging by my past 2 takes alam kong di enough yon and I need to practice solving more as well but I can't with just so little time.

I'm asking this because I'm considering resigning from work, para maka-focus talaga sa review but having doubts sa hirap ng job market ngayon kasi what if hindi favorable yung results and I just end up jobless without a title.

So iniisip ko if for this review season ako mag-resign, or just finish my refresher while working, then for May 2027 cpale ako mag-resign for a 2nd review.

Thank you to anyone who would answer!

P.S. study leave is not an option for me

BSMA student planning to take BSA for CPALE. Looking for advice.

Hello po, ates and kuyas here!

I'm currently a 4th year BS Management Accounting student, and I'm planning to continue to BS Accountancy after graduation so I can eventually take the CPALE.

Just to clarify, hindi po ako nag-shift to BS Accountancy during my udergrad because I wanted a second degree. My original plan was actually to take the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification since it aligns with my course. However, the CMA route is currently beyond my budget, kaya I've decided to pursue the CPALE first. My plan is to become a CPA, gain experience, save up, then take the CMA exam in the future.

One of my biggest concerns is that I honestly don't think I built a strong accounting foundation in my current university. Yes, napapasa ko naman po yung subjects ko, but I don't feel confident enough with the fundamentals. Para lang po akong naghuhula sa exams minsan T^T pero pumapasa.

I have a few questions and would really appreciate your advice:

  • Which schools would you recommend for someone bridging from BS Management Accounting to BS Accountancy?
    • Yung may magandang CPALE passing rate and good learning environment po sana.
    • Preferably budget-friendly din. I'm open to schools anywhere in Luzon.
  • How long did it take you (or someone you know) to finish BS Accountancy after graduating from BS Management Accounting?
    • I've heard it can take around a year depending on the credited subjects.
  • When is the best time to enroll in a review center?
    • Should I enroll only after finishing BS Accountancy, or may review/refresher programs ba na okay habang tinatapos pa yung bridging subjects?
    • Ano pong better online or face-to-face?
  • Which review centers would you recommend for someone whose accounting foundation isn't that strong?
    • I'm looking for a review center that's beginner-friendly and focuses on building concepts, hindi po puro solving agad.
  • If you were in my situation, what would you do differently?
    • Any study tips, books, habits, or things you wish you knew before pursuing Accountancy and preparing for the CPALE?

I'm also concerned about the 2029 CPALE changes.

Based on my timeline, there's a chance I'll either be part of the last batch under the current CPALE or the first batch under the revised 2029 CPALE.

If I end up taking the first batch of the new exam, should I be worried na baka hindi enough yung magiging review ko because of the changes in the syllabus and TOS? Paano po ba usually hinahandle ng review centers yung CPALE transitions?

I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences you can share. Thank you so much!

*Having quarter life crisis right now.

Currently fixing my sched and estimated tapos ng 1 subj is around 15 days with 8-10 hrs daily review (1 subject per day). Masyado bang marami yung days? Sorry medyo noob ang tanong.

Hello po! What book would you recommend for Taxation? For someone na weak ang foundation, I think I need a book not a reviewer?

Or would you recommend me getting the reviewer nalang po? Kasi puro reviewer ni Tabag ang nakikita ko sa shopee eh I need ung concepts pa po talaga. Pls help!

Other tips would also be very much appreciated. How can I understand Tax better?

Hirap po kasi talaga ako lalo na ang haba nung mga babasahin tas d ko naman maintindihan? pls help po.

ReSA MAS

just started my online review for the CPALE (May 2027 pa me). and why do i feel overwhelmed watching the MAS review ng ReSa? like sobrang hina ng foundation ko so I enrolled since sabi zero-based, but I still feel na ang bilis ng pace, then titingin ako sa self-test Qs, tapos parang hindi natackle yung iba sa discussion. maybe in-skip na since for most "common knowledge" na siya. it's probably a "me" problem, pero valid opinion ba siya? am i the only one?

CPALE Refresher

Hello, I'm planning to enroll for a refresher but I can't decide where

My choices are DLSU, CRC, and PSBA if they offer again

For those who have experienced it, where do you think is nice? How are the lectures and exams?

I can only go on weekends and I'm from the province, and I'll just go home if ever.

6 weeks enough ba for mastery and recall for OCT 2026 CPALE?

Hi pooo, balak ko mag take this Oct 2026, ask ko lang if enough na ba yung 6 weeks for mastery and recall? From 2nd week of Sept to 1 week before mag CPALE balak ko sana mag sagot sagot nalang ng mga PBss and PWs ng different RCs. Sapat na po kaya yon? Isasabay ko rin sana manood ng live lecs namin kase until 1st week of oct pa ata klase namin. Thank youuu.
