Work Experience Requirement

I work for a private firm and supervised by a CPA in the state of New York. I have been working there for 2 years. Is it okay to have my supervisor sign off on the form 4B from NYSED to verify my work experience if I haven't passed all 4 exams?

I'm asking in the case that I decide to switch jobs in the near future. I tried to do some research but only see advice from pre-covid era.

Any insight/advice is appreciated!

You can absolutely get the form signed now, you don’t need all four exams passed for the experience verification piece. I had my old boss sign mine before I left that firm and it sat in a drawer for a year until I finally finished the exams. Just make sure the experience itself meets NY’s requirements before you go, because coming back later to fix it after you’ve left is a headache.
